DAY 1 ARRIVE AUCKLAND
On arrival after completion of Customs formalities proceed outside the Arrival Hall to hotel Pick up a seat in coach transfer to your accommodation. Auckland the country’s largest metropolis and one of the world’s most stunning cities lies between a narrow isthmus, characterized by numerous volcanic cones and the many reaches of the city’s twin harbours to east and west. It is known as the “City of Sails’. This afternoon join an Auckland Highlights tour. These include: Queen Street, a glimpse of the Auckland Harbour Bridge, Mt Eden, Domain Parks and Gardens, Auckland War Memorial Museum, Waterfront drive.
DAY 2 AUCKLAND-WAITOMO-ROTORUA
Visit the world famous glowworm caves, where you glide silently on an underground river beneath a canopy of twinkling glowworm lights. These caves are famous for their limestone formations. Above ground again continue to Rotorua to arrive at your hotel Rotorua is home to the Te Aroha tribe of Maoris, who settled on the edge of Lake Rotorua after the Great Migration from Hawaiiki. The Maoris quickly learned to use the natural geothermal activity for heating and cooking, and even today they will often cook over thermal bores. Rotorua is the centre of Maori culture in New Zealand and you will see several carved maori villages – the most notable being at Ohinemutu and at Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve. The Maori Arts and Crafts Institute is also housed at Whakarewarewa, where the ancient arts of carving, spinning and weaving are handed down through the generations.
DAY 3 ROTORUA SIGHTSEEING
This morning visit Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve, the Maori Arts & Craft Institute, Paradise Valley Trout Springs and Wildlife Park, Agrodome for sheepshow. Afternoon free
DAY 4 ROTORUA/QUEENSTOWN (FLY)
After breakfast transfer by seat in coach to Rotorua Airport for onward travel to Queenstown. On arrival take the shuttle to your accommodation.
DAY 5 MILFORD SOUND CRUISE
Travel by coach through the world famous Heritage Fiordland National Park, seeing majestic mountain scenery en route. Travel through Eglinton Valley and the Homer Tunnel gateway to Milford Sound. Join a cruise to see spectacular waterfalls and the might Mitre Peak rising sheer from the water. You may be lucky to see seals, dolphins and penguins.
This afternoon return to Queenstown.
DAY 6 AT LEISURE IN QUEENSTOWN
Queenstown is the South Island’s most popular alpine Resort nestled around the shores of Lake Wakatipu. Take time out to enjoy the ambience, scenery, peace and tranquility. There are many short walks, golf courses, or take a sightseeing tour to Arrowtown to soak up the history of the gold rush then visit the Chinese Miners village where some of the dwellings have been carefully restored.
DAY 7 QUEENSTOWN-FRANZ JOSEF
Leave Queenstown by coach and travel along the Kawarau River to Cromwell a fruit-growing area then its on past the picturesque township of Wanaka well known for its outdoor pursuits. Continue on over the Southern Alps through Mt Aspiring National Park to view spectacular waterfalls to Haast named after the geologist explorer Julius von Haast. Two famous glaciers. Fox and Franz Josef are readily accessible requiring short diversions. Shortly arrive at your accommodation. Franz Josef Glacier is one of the two rivers of ice that extend from the mountains almost to the sea. At the head of Franz Josef Glacier are the Southern Alps which fed the glacier and pushed it down through the valley. Once it covered the whole flat land out to sea, gouging the landscape into the river valley of today. Since the ice age, the glacier has retreated and advanced several times and is currently advancing again, creeping down the valley a little more each month.
DAY 8 FRANZ JOSEF –GREYMOUTH – CHRISTCHURCH
Depart for Greymouth and travel through the town of Hokitika . Hokitika is the place to find greenstone, much sought after by Maori tribes for making into tools and ornaments in the past. Then its on to Greymouth to catch the TranzAlpine train to Christchurch. Greymouth is a city that began with gold, continued with coal and now exists mostly on timber. The city is built on the shores of the Grey River, which has several times burst its banks and flooded the town. New Stopbanks have been erected and flooding is now a thing of the past. Enjoy a spectacular train journey once again through The Southern Alps to Christchurch. On arrival in Christchurch proceed by seat in coach to your accommodation.
DAY 9 CHRISTCHURCH - Full day free at leisure
Christchurch is New Zealand’s third largest city, and the largest city in the South Island. The city was carefully planned by English Anglican settlers in the 1840’s with the roads laid out in grids around the central city square, bordering onto the Avon River, which meanders lazily through the city. The English ancestry is still evident in the names of streets and rivers and the lovely stone buildings – named after English towns, cities, rivers and universities.
DAY 10 DEPART NEW ZEALAND
Transfer by coach to Christchurch International Airport.
Day 01 Meet and Assist on arrival transfer to Colombo. (1 Hour)
Day 02 After breakfast proceed on city tour of Colombo + Shopping. (Half day)
Day 03 Proceed to Kandy en route visit the Pinnawela Elephant orphanage. (3Hours)
Day 04 After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya and climb the famous rock fortress (2 Hours each way). Later Proceed on a city tour of Kandy also visit the temple of the tooth, royal Botanical gardens and Lapidary (Half day). Late evening view a traditional cultural dance performance.
Day 05 After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya en route visit a Tea factory and Estate.

Day 06 After breakfast proceed to Bentota for beach stay en route view St Clairs and Devon Falls also view the location where the famous movie "Bridge on the River Kwie" was filmed.

Day 07 At Leisure in Bentota.
Day 08 After breakfast proceed to Airport for departure flight(3 Hours)
